15th July 2007 - I finally got another phone from my work. Though this wasn't expected, as I have given up all hope of getting any freebies from work. Plus I got this handset, and it didn't even come with a battery. Though, Beggars can't be choosers as they say. I managed to get a battery from someone else in the office.
I've been using this phone for a few days now. At first I was a bit apprehensive due to the size of this handset, in comparison to the other handsets out on the market. But to be honest, I think I like it because of it's bulkiness. It makes me feel comfortable that I'm not going to break it.
A cool feature of this handset is the way it's designed. It's not your traditional slider, or clam shell type of handset, but a variation of that, with it swinging open, to reveal the digits. But even with it closed, you can still navigate the menu, and make calls, only if you don't need the number pad.
It's got about a 500mb of onboard memory, which is pretty cool, but you can increase that with a stick. The face of the phone is schmick, and I love the rocker on this phone. It's got appeal, and the orange ring illuminates too!
Other than that, it's pretty much a standard 3G phone. Though a Walkman one at that.
